# Stop Writing!

> Stop Writing! is a story development platform for storytellers — the development phase that happens before you type "FADE IN" or "Chapter One." Unlike drafting tools (Final Draft, Scrivener, Google Docs), it develops the story before the words. It is the only story development platform built to work with the AI off: on the StoryBuilder and IdeaCatcher tiers, plain-language definitions from the book sit beside every field, no AI coaching. AI coaching (dAIvid) is a separate, clearly marked choice on the StoryTeller and StoryMaster tiers. Built by screenwriter David Cornue around his book *Stop Writing! (The First Words Are the Last Words You Should Write)*.
