A decade of teaching writers. A book written before the term “AI” meant anything. The work is mine, and it is old, and it is tested. AI is how some of it reaches you now — not what it is.
Where this started
I didn’t build this because of AI.
I built it because of a decade in the room with writers.
The method came first. The frameworks, the tools, the way I teach story — they lived in my classes and on the page long before AI entered the conversation. I wrote the book before the term meant anything to anyone. The teachings are mine. They are tested. They worked before a single line of software ran.
I started building the software to put that work in more hands. Then AI arrived, and I paused — because I could see it would change how the teaching reached people. It did not change the teaching.
So when the work and the wrapper get folded into “it’s just AI,” I understand the reflex. But it skips the part I care about most. There is a person behind this. A real one, with a decade of work and a real wish to help writers get better. AI is the most effective way I have found to hand that work to you. It is not the work.
The human is the source.
